Oh wow its been absolute ages since I've been on here. Hello. I just quickly wanted to post something I did. Something I made. I make videos sometimes and I should point out that I haven't had any training or studying in the media slash video making field what so ever. This doesn't mean that you can go all "oh wow you made this without actual training wow you're so talented" although that would be okay with me... no, what I mean to say is that everything that's wrong with what I make is purely because of the fact that I just try things and see how they look without any professional stand point. I simply just don't know what I'm doing. I just.... do. DJ duo "Tweakerfreakz" asked me to film their first ever music video for them. They had a gig, and I went down with a couple of video cameras to film bits here and there. I have to say that I'm usually not into anything to do with DJ music - I need to be able to sing along to something. Now, given that their first official radio edit hasn't got any lyrics to it, I really did enjoy the set they played when I went down to shoot the video. It was a lot of known music that they just TWEAKED with (heueheuhuhu) and I got to sing along and I really enjoyed myself!! To watch their music video, check it out after the jump! Today all I've been doing is come up with a creative idea to teach little children (aged 9-12) a memory technique which will hopefully help them learn their English vocab lists and will result in them getting better grades. My uncle had introduced me to his mind palace a couple days ago and I decided I wanted one too. Not sure how to really create one and how it would make me remember things, I internet searched for more information and no prizes for the person who guesses who's name popped up... I've been watching far too much Derren Brown videos and... I have sort of picked up on how to plant an idea into someone's head. Derren has shown in several of his 'bits' in his TV shows as well as in his theater shows that by showing people things and by saying certain things to people - even when they're not looking or listening to you - they still unconsciously pick up on them and when you do this frequently, it will become 'a thing'.  I tried out this theory with as my subject, my mother. I didn't have any money and I wanted to buy tickets to Derren's 2013 show Infamous... so I had to convince someone to buy me tickets or just to give me money. First I had to introduce my mum to Derren, so I watched several videos with her and we watched Svengali and Enigma together. She was drunk during all of this, and only watched short segments as she was also trying to concentrate on mindfeud and wordfeud on her phone... but now, she knew who Derren was.
